Emergency Bleed Kit (EBK)

The Blue Tactical Emergency Bleeding Kit (EBK) delivers immediate access to products that are proven to slow life-threatening bleeding caused by gun shots, vehicle accidents, workplace mishaps, or other traumatic events.

Effective, reliable and portable

The patented C-A-T® tourniquet is the key item in the EBK.  The CAT is a true one-handed tourniquet proven to be 100% effective by the U.S. Army’s Institute of Surgical Research and has saved countless lives. Tests proved that the CAT completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage. The Gen 7 CAT utilizes a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band providing true circumferential pressure to the extremity. Once adequately tightened, bleeding will cease, and the windlass is locked into place. A hook and loop windlass retention strap is then applied, securing the windlass to maintain pressure during casualty evacuation. 

The EBK is designed to be used by anyone and does not require special medical training.  The EBK can help the user save a life people before professional help arrives. 

The EBK is compact enough to easily fit in a go-bag, BDU pocket, or daypack.  It is conveniently vacuum-packed and sealed in a clear, plastic pouch with an easy open tab.
